We recently launched eThreads rePurpose, a service in which we turn your old favorite t-shirts, jackets, blankets, etc… into fabulous new bags! Trina J. sent us two amazing pieces that she picked up in Japan – a large square tapestry and small scarf – to be transformed into new bags:

We had just enough fabric to create the Ruffle Tote and Kiss Frame Purse for Trina and here are the results…

We recently launched eThreads rePurpose, a new service in which we turn t-shirts, jackets, blankets, etc. into bags! For more information or to see examples of our rePurpose bags, click here. You can also purchase ready-to-wear t-shirt bags on our Blog Shop. In addition to using salvaged t-shirts, we welcome custom-made orders so that you can turn your favorite t-shirt or jacket into a new bag!

Marcie asked us to repurpose t-shirts from her family’s collection as holiday presents for her nieces. Each t-shirt held a special memory for the girls and they were delighted to be surprised with their new bags. Marcie was thrilled with the result:
