eThreads rePurpose: Large Pouch Napoleon Dynamite T-Shirt Bag

This Large Pouch is made from a recycled t-shirt! The shirt was a green adult Napoleon Dynamite t-shirt with the phrase “Don’t be jealous that I’ve been chatting on-line with babes all day!” We cut up the t-shirt so the full phrase is on the front and the back is plain. This bag is perfect for any Napoleon Dynamite fan! The bag is 6″H x 9.5″W and is lined in a purple nylon for durability. The Large Pouch is a great size to hold all your necessities – sunglasses, wallet, cell, keys, makeup and a little room to spare! Add a handle or ring to carry the bag like a wristlet or clip to your belt loop.

New Bag Design: The Large Tote

We are updating all eThreads designs for 2010, starting with our most popular design, the Large Tote!  We have made the design a little bigger, adjusted the handle, added a zippered pocket, key ring loop, and extended the lining to edge of the bag.  The result: a stronger, more secure design that holds a lot more!  The best part: it’s $10 less than our old design!  That’s right — our most popular design is now $65 instead of $75!  We’ve come up with a more efficient way to make the bag, and we’re passing the savings on to you.  Everybody wins.

The new Large Tote won’t be featured on the website until Summer 2010, but you can have the new design now!  Just create your own Large Tote and we can substitute the new design and refund you $10.

New Bag Design: The Ruffle Tote










Meet a new design in our family — the Ruffle Tote!  This fabulous bag features drawstring ties on each side of the bag, so you can cinch it small or expand the bag to a massive 22″.  There are two secure interior pockets and a loop to clip your keys.  The padded handles are 27″ long and anchored by 4 grommets. Take this bag for a day of shopping, a trip into the city, a beach excursion, or use in your daily grind to fit in everything you need — books, bags, jackets, the kitchen sink — whatever!

I road-tested this new design on a recent trip to L.A. and loved it. It carried everything I needed to go from day to night — jacket, sweater, scarf, book, notebook, flat shoes — PLUS all my usual stuff — several pouches for my wallet, camera, purse oddities, etc… On the days I carried less stuff, I just cinched the tote smaller and it looked like a cute little bag!
