This pouch is made with repurposed t-shirts! We are reusing the materials leftover from three separate t-shirt bags and combining them into one cute pouch. It’s unique and eco-friendly, because we’re recycling materials – everybody wins! This pouch is made with a red and pink stripe over light grey – it’s oh-so-soft, just like your favorite t-shirt. It has a red nylon lining for durability and a red zipper. The pouch measures 7.5″Wx4.5″H and is a great size for your cell, keys, cash and a few other necessities. I visited my favorite fabric shop in Boston, Winmil Fabrics, and found quilted Burberry fabric that’s 100% waterproof! What a coup! Water has no chance against this fabric — it slides right off. Burberry used this fabric for rain coats and then sold the unused fabric. So, not only is it waterproof, it’s also eco-friendly because we are using remnants. Plus the fabric comes in these delicious, rich colors which pair into dozens of beautiful color combinations!
I really love the way these fabrics look together, the colors complement each other so perfectly and the quilting adds a nice texture. Check out this Striped Wristlet for inspiration…
